The Smritilekha Foundation was established on September 1, 2023, in Guwahati, Assam, with a view to work for the betterment of the marginalized and backward section of society through education, health care, capacity building, and livelihood opportunities. SLF also works in the environment and agriculture sectors and is concerned about climate change and its challenges. SLF is committed to preserve and promote the heritage, art, culture, history, and indigenous knowledge systems of marginalized and backward communities.
